Turning off the stereo

I feel totally stupid for asking this but how the heck do you turn off the stereo system? I have the Bose system and I know you can hit the volume button on the command center to mute but what if I just want it off? Right now I'm hitting mute whenever I don't want to listen to music.

@MikiMom from my understanding there is no "OFF" function sadly. I do not have the Bose system, but I have heard from others that they do not have an off button on either system.

Most infotainment (gosh I hate that word) do not have an "off" button as the device controls many different functions.

Like the others said, you can't turn it off completely. You can either mute it, select a silent source, or zero the volume.
