Share what you did today with the Mazda CX-3 community!

Example: I took her out of the garage and gave her a nice bath and followed up with a coat of wax.

Example: Finally got my window tints done, now I can't open my windows for a week

Anything goes....

I drove to Ft.Mac and back over the long weekend (1000 km trip) got 6.3l/100km on the highway, Ripped it through a 10km mud/dirt road and had a blast! Mountain trip this weekend!

An Administrator, Woh!!!

Can you please increase the upload size of pdf’s? - that would be most appreciated.

I didn’t do much with my CX3 today for a change. The wheels came with steel valves which had to be fitted and it took me the 23 miles each way to work and back in Manchester City centre (thats how we spell it here!). I had to put up with it performing a particulate filter regeneration where it sprays neat fuel into the exhaust to burn out the soot. The exhaust goes to extremely high temperature and oh boy, it smells. You petrol heads don’t have to worry about that!!!

I took the photo of my cx3 today.

This past weekend I installed new interior LED bulbs from Diode Dynamics, and took my car to get clear film installed on the headlights. I'll be doing the bumper, fenders, mirrors, and full hood next.

Dropped it off to get new tires and wheels put on. Going from 16s to 18's....not thrilled with the wheels I bought but way better than OEMs and wanted to keep the new wheels light as these CX-3s are gutless.

I'll be out of town till Sat night or Sun so I won't get to see the results for 2-3 days. UGH ha

I listened to First Wave channel on XM/Sirius (as part of my minuscule 4-month free trial) via my 7-speaker Bose sound system turned up rather loud while running an errand. Then I folded (that's right, Lynx) my side mirrors, pulled into my narrow, labyrinthine parking spot and crossed the street for the train to work.

New wheels and tires, and debadged her!!! See attached

NOTE: The Mazda badge clearly felt like it had holes with connectors on the corners of the "M", so I left that on for now until I figure out a plan. Maybe that mean "m"

Pop the panel out of the back door interior. You should be able to see if the badge is pinned. They tend to be stuck these days.

Dark now here on the E coast, I'll have to do that tomorrow but will do. Pretty sure they ARE pinned bc there was a lot of resistance in the exact spot on both sides.

Yeah did the same earlier today and took pics. Gonna order that evil M and put it on (as it will cover the holes; it looks like the same size as the stock M symbol), and already bought some clear silicone to fill the holes from the back

If you had explained what you were proposing, I would have been sceptical but it actually works because the car is pure white. The black connects the headlights and creates a surprisingly good effect. I think you now need to be careful not to do too much. IMHO.

Hi Gus

have a look at the pictures below.
For installation i did not quite follow the instructions that came with the Proclip. I could not get the tool to lift the trim so i fitted the proclip on the thin part of the dashboard and slided it in place. Also without removing the sticker for the tape. (Never know when I might change the car for a model with automatic transmission)

Looks good, thanks for the tip, I was wondering about doing something as I am not sure what to do with the phone when it is in the cx–3 and still see the screen.

Of course. All my cars have always been well thought out and focused on originality and subtlety.
