Hey guys,

Looked on the forums, I didn't seem to find an answer.

When I have my AC on, the weird thing is that only the far right vent is very cold and middle right vent is cold, if I open the middle left and far left vents, no cold just a fan. BUT if I close the far right vent the middle right vent is very cold but the middle left has no cold air but the far left is somewhat cold.

So it depends which vent is open for the cold air to go through. But the middle left and left is pretty much non-existent with cold air.

Is there something simple I can change?

I also called mazda and they said I only have 3 years warranty! I thought I had 5.... meh

your low on freon, get your system checked for leaks, same thing happened in my vette, its as simple as the air isnt cold enuf to reach across dash,
so its warm by time it reaches driver side, which is why you can close passenger vents and get cold from left sides.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but I was under the impression that cars no longer used Freon gas (R22) due to environmental reasons. Unless it’s a different form of Freon or something?

It's R134a, but a lot of people still refer to it as Freon. Early build CX-3s have A/C issues so just search the forum and the TSBs are bound to come up.

I work at ford and we have 5 different freons in use, one is hybrid only, but that words just a catch all, like saying would you like a soda, umbrella type word.
Call Mazda anyway, on some items that fail they extend time or warranty for the tsb item. Still hope.
