I have had the pleasure of driving my CX-3 GT on this highway.

I was going to post Dashcam Video but have trouble picking a section to post.
There is a nice section with a view of a bridge that I'll try to find.

The Icefields Parkway - Zoom Zoom Magazine

I will be travelling this route often.
The CX-3 is a joy to drive along these highways.
It's one of the reasons I chose a CX-3 . Drives into the Rockies

That is such stunning scenery - wish I had that and such an empty road on my doorstep. There were no potholes either that I could see in that 3 minute clip, just the road joints for bridges.

I have driven between Banff and Lake Louise, with the tunnels (or was it bridges) across the road in places for animals to cross. But that was in some average rental car which wasn't anything like a CX-3 !!!

Beautiful. My goal is to drive mine across the Seven Mile Bridge which is part of the Overseas Highway (U.S. Route 1) in the Florida Keys.

My wife and i drove that way in 2010. Calgary, Bragg Creek, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper.
Then down via Kamloops to Vancouver, Seattle, and the I90 to visit a good freind in Coeur D´Alene for a few days.
Back to Calgary through Glacier National Park.

It was my 5th time in the NW and it´s still my favorite area on the planet.
Coming from flat, little Denmark, this is bigger than anything you are used to.

We´re going back soon )

The CX-3 is well suited for these roads.
AWD when needed , corners well and the up & down can be a little more fun using paddle shifters.

I often forget that people travel from around the globe to visit these sites; it's only a day drive for me.
It's a mental health break to get away from the city and into the mountains/wildlife areas.
Most weekends, somewhere in the Provincial or National Parks you will find me and my CX-3.

I am hoping to get some video of the CX-3 from outside the car in some good snow conditions this season.

and.. no matter how you measure it....
miles per gallon, litres per 100 km, or dollars per distance,
it's an affordable way to de-stress
