There recently was a post from someone having a problem opening the hatch. Unfortunately, I cannot remember who, but it was fairly recent.

Anyway, a couple of responses indicated that there are actually two switches or buttons, and the poster was probably pressing the wrong one,

not realizing that there are actually two. Well, that caused me to look for the "second" switch, but after exhaustive searching, I can find only the

one switch/lever. What am I missing, (besides the obvious coulpe of screws)? Thanks!

My 2016 also only has one switch/button. You do need to have the key/fob on you when trying to open the hatch or the locking mechanism will not work no matter how much you push that button.
