This is old and should not be continued to be rebumped up to the top anymore.

There was a thread created shortly after I posted this with the admin saying the site had been moved to https so this is a dead pointless topic.

My main concern regarding this was primarily due to a database leak the website owners had last year which required a full reset on everyones accounts and probably others if you used the same password as the email address you sign in with. That and there is especially much more security in https vs http. It is basically industry standard to have encrypted connections to anything that has a login or account credentials of some sort and not having it leaves you open to the previous problem mentioned. Feel free to google http vs https protocols

This also leads to a very important lesson:
Never re-use passwords across sites.
Ever.
Even if HTTPS is in use.
Even if Zuckerberg, Gates, Wozniak, or the Ghost of Steve Jobs comes back to tell you their **** is secure.
Use a different password for every account.
