Hello, my CX-3 doesn't have LED headlights. I want them. Any suggestions of an upgrade I can get? Any certain type I should get? Am I able to do the switch myself or does it take a PhD from Harvard to pull it off.

I don't know about Canada but in the US there are certain legal concerns with installing HID/LED bulbs into housings designed for halogens. The problem is that the light emission pattern of the LED bulbs is very different from the halogen bulbs (and xenon HID bulbs, too). This may lead to you blinding oncoming traffic at night.

IIRC, the halogen headlamps on the CX-3 are projectors so you might be able to just purchase some LED modules designed to replace halogens from CARiD. Might. CARiD claim their $150 LED conversion kits are a direct replacement for halogen systems but they may not be legal for on-road use.

To properly do the retrofit using OEM components, you'll need some very expensive parts...
The part numbers for the LED headlamps are DB4J-51-030F and DB4J-51-040F and they're close to $700 each.

I don't know if the cars equipped with halogen headlamps had the leveling system but you may want those components, as well, to avoid blinding people if the rear of your car is loaded down.
