Just a few days ahead of its debut, our spy photographers have grabbed some shots of the new Mazda CX-3 out testing.
The CX-3 will sit in between the CX-5 crossover and the Mazda2 subcompact, the car on which it will be based. The most likely candidate for powering the new small crossover is the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 155 hp.
Although it is still fully camouflaged, we can see that CX-3 shares much of its rear-end styling with the larger CX-5, while the front is more like the new smaller Mazda2.
While we have heard that the CX-3 will debut at the LA Auto Show later this week in production form, some conflicting reports say it will only be a concept version. AutoGuide will be live from the LA Auto Show, so check back for more info later this week.
