Car and Driver latest review.

Mazda CX-3 Reviews - Mazda CX-3 Price, Photos, and Specs - Car and Driver

Particularly noteworthy is their 0-60 time of 8.1 sec. for the AWD.
They tend to post faster acceleration times than most but this still is pretty impressive vs their time for AWD HRV of 9.5.

Makes me think FWD version could match the 3. :)

I also just received the Aug mag in the mail with a bit more detailed review.
They promise a full segment comparison test in the Sept issue.

Also lists Touring trim price of $25,500.
Pictures show heated seats indicator & navigation, so I'm guessing Touring trim with package.
Great price.
Average mpg over 300 miles was 28.
Looking good.

The load floor is a little high. I assume due to the spare? My x1 doesn't have one.

Funny people complain how small this is. If you need more room, there is the CX-5.

The floor a 2 tiered false bottom type that gives you some extra depth.
No arguing trunk is dinky though.

Is there a spare? Does anybody Know?

Per MazdaUSAMedia 5/1/2015;

“For CX-3s equipped with i-ACTIV AWD, additional reinforcements were added to the crossmember that connects the rear frame, and the shape of the beading used on the spare tire pan was modified to enhance aerodynamic performance and rigidity.“

The inference is that there is a spare...?

From an Australian site;
“A note of caution though, the CX3 Touring only has a space saver spare tyre.“

Granted we don't know exactly what the extra Nav/Leather/etc package includes, but using the CX-5 Touring packages as an indicator, this would price a CX-3 Touring AWD around the $24,000-$24,500 mark. Thats pretty sweet. :D

Small indeed but with these cars thats ones of the ares you have to sacrifice at.
Some owners might have to look into getting a roof top carrier.
