Do you know what is the function of this switch? Is it some kind of immobiliser?

It looks as though your car has been fitted with front parking distance sensors and that button will turn them off until the next time the engine is started.

Are you sure? Because i can't start the engine, while this switch is in P-mode.

Well, the logo on the switch means front parking distance sensor, but someone could have wired something else to it, or it could be mis-wired, or it could be working as intended.
