i-Stop - Flashing amber

I was wondering why my-iStop light is flashing amber. I have noticed that after some long trips if I turn off the car and the start the i-stop behaves normally but then soon after possibly a day or so the i-Stop feature will start flashing amber again and I will not have that functional. Is this possibly battery related?

From memory this issue also happened on my old Mazda 2 (same platform as CX-3), and it was the battery.
Battery replaced and all back to normal.

Thanks, the battery must be just on the cusp of being less charged than necessary for the i-stop function.
