So I did my thing on Tirerack to see how the wheels that I bought will look on the cars. Since I couldn't link the final pics here I took a pic of each setup and am posting them here now for you all to see.

Some notes:

Tirerack doesn't sell Konig wheels so I did an OZ wheel which is similar to the Oversteer wheel I bought. The finish is also slightly darker on the Konig wheel than the silver shown in the pics.

Sizes again on these wheels are 17x8" +45mm on the Konigs and +40 on the Motegis.

Finally the pics:

Subbing for the Konig's is the OZ Leggera on the CX-3

The SX4

The Motegi's on the SX4

The CX-3

So basically that's what they will look like once they are on, I can still change my mind as to exactly which wheel will go on which car (right now it's motegi on the Suzuki and konig on the Mazda) and I'll finally decide when the wheels are getting tires mounted on them.

Please take a look and post up what you think....................I welcome all opinions.

Tony

I personally like black wheels and black spokes and the style in the third picture would be my choice if they were black.

Have you thought about learning how the screen capture tools built into Windows work? The contrast, color balance and exposure levels never work right when photographing a monitor.

I think you're putting too much thought into this process. Just pick a direction and run. Also, own your sense of style. If you like it, do it and screw other peoples' aesthetic (lack of) sense.

with everything NotAPreppie has suggested, you will never get everyone to agree with what your doing, this is why we are all so different, geez life would be boring if we were all the same, just go with what you like best.:)

I'm not expecting anyone to like it or not like what wheels I'm putting on what car. I've made the choice of spending the money on them so they're going on whether they look good or not (obviously I've done this privately for quite a while before posting up the pics here for you guys to check out and I like what I'm seeing). These pics still aren't the final look till I do the real shots when they actually go on.

Besides, it is the dead of winter up here. Not much going on I'd rather be in the garage working on my Shelby and driving my cars than pondering what wheels should go on what car...................just something to pass the time till it gets warmer.

Don't know why my hosting site screwed up the first pic so I'll repost it here:

In my local car club we call this the "Silly Season". On our message board people get bored and start posting stuff about tearing down perfectly good engines and getting into arguments about whether or not the next batch of 200TW tires are going to be any good (even though nobody has seen them in the wild).

I think you should go crazy and find a set of RX-8 R3 wheels. Forged 19x8" ET50 ~22 lbs. Wrap them in some 225/40-19 Michelin Pilot Supersport tires that the Porsche guys seem to love so much. Add a 10-ish mm spacer to get the back-spacing and scrub radius closer to OEM and call it a day.

They made a similar style in 18x8 for the 40th Anniversary RX-8 but those are cast and genuine specimens are as rare as the love child between Pegasus and a unicorn.

Yep I know what silly season is about......................haha.

No, not looking for forged wheels on these cars I've already spent enough getting 2 sets of wheels within a week and the set I bought for the Shelby couple years ago almost broke me (those Forgelines weren't cheap!!!!)
