Hello everyone,

my girlfriend and I are in the market for a modern crossover. We did most of our research on the 2018 selections such as toyota's ch r, Honda, HR V,..so on and so forth. Apparently I'm an idiot cause 2019 selection comes out this month and with it another line to research. Unfortunately there aren't many reviews for the new CX 3 so I was wondering if anyone could chime in. I'm a fan of some interior changes and don't see much else changed with their engine/skyactive tech. How are your experiences? Is there a perk in the 2019 model that is cutting edge to this years technology?

Thanks in advanced!

Only had our CX3 for a couple weeks so far.. so my thoughts are limited by that time..

So far, already knew this but really reaffirming it, it's small. It's compact. It's funny that it's even considered a "CUV" because there's not much "UV" in it. You could barely go grocery shopping with the trunk space that it has. It's a car for small people, otherwise you will feel squished in it.

The radio/infotainment has a lot of options to play with, but it's a little "busy" to get used to.. it's not terrible, just not as easy to use as some others. Depending where you're from (US/Canada) it doesn't come with android auto/carplay, like mostly every other car does these days. It can be added on at an extra cost but it should be standard these days. Not sure what Mazda was thinking by leaving it out. So in that aspect alone, no there is no cutting edge technology in this car except for the safety features.

Speaking of safety features, it has all the latest technology.......... except for lane correction. It will warn you but no correction.

It's noisy when it starts up....... seems a lot of cars are going the noisy route though. The valves/whatever are loud for the first 10 seconds or so and then everything quiets down. It's slightly offputting for a new car, but my Subaru does it too... so it's just how things are now.

Other than that, I can't add much. I don't drive it too often to get an opinion. Decent enough little car.
