I must admit, I've run my RAV4s on winter tyres for the last five or six winters but due to the added complication of TPMS, I'm kind of erring towards trying this CX3 on the regular tyres for a bit. It doesn't sit well with me because winter tyres are not all about snow. Road holding, braking and acceleration are all considerably improved when the ambient temp drops below 8C. There is also a big improvement in wet weather performance. I had Yokohama W Drives on my RAVs and they were just astonishing. I don't want some knuckle dragging tyre fitter ruining my 18 inch rims so if I do decide to splash out, I will get another set of alloys.
