I've just purchased a mazda 6 with 59 firmware and was looking to upgrade the firmware so i can use apple car play. would anyone know what one i would need and do you have a copy you wouldn't mind sending me? region is EU N

Send a private message to ASH8 as per this post Mazda MZD Connect FIRMWARE Downloads-UPDATED asking for a link to the files.
The update process is quite straightforward, but you MUST be capable of following written instructions to the letter. Read everything through carefully and make sure you understand it all before you start.
Once you've updated the Operating System (OS) you can then install the replacement USB hub and USB cables which you can purchase from Mazda parts dept., or from AliExpress or eBay.

Read ASH8's post again and follow the instructions in red which start "IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER". The fact that you haven't read and understood the instructions already, indicates that you probably won't be able to read and understand the Operating System update instructions properly and should therefore entrust the process to a Mazda dealer.

Nope I can understand it all clearly. Just really never use or post on forums and to private message anyone you need to minimum need to post at least to 2 threads so this was just one of them. I just need help getting the firmware downloads, because they are nowhere to be found, via Mega or the file sharing company.
