My car, a CX-3 2.0 L 150 hp AWD Automatic, is almost new - 4 months old, only 3.000 km covered - but I already have two problems:

1) I'm experiencing high-frequency low-amplitude steering wheel vibrations, not visible, but noticeable when I have steering wheel in my hands. These vibrations start at about 1500 rpm and stop at about 2000 rpm, and can be experienced both while driving and while not moving, regardless of the gear position (D, M, R, N, P).
Moreover, at higher rpm, especially when gearbox is in sport mode, it’s the brake pedal that’s affected by vibrations.

2) A/C compressor goes on and off 3-4 times a minute.

Here in Italy, official Mazda repair shops can’t fix these issues!
They’ve told me there is nothing wrong with my car, and that some engine vibration and A/C compressor going on and off again and again, are normal characteristics of the car.

What do you think about the two problems described above?

The vibrations are definitely not normal, so good thing you are getting that checked out. I have noticed that the AC (at least in my car) is very poor. It never gets cold (just cool) and cycles on and off quite often. The AC also only works decently when you are moving. When stuck in traffic at idle, it even has a hard time blowing "cool" air.

I'd take it to the folks who taught you your perfect English ... your native tounge, methinks ;)

As for the vibes:

1. Test other similarly equipped CX-3 for the same issue.

2. Is there an Importer's Representative available?

3. How long is your warranty?

Your English is better than mine!

I'm also experiencing vibrations at high RPMs in the break pedal and steering wheel, but I figured that was normal for this car. Perhaps I'm wrong and I need to have that checked out?

As for the AC, I agree with TiGrayMSM, it is average. On a particularly hot day it really doesn't get cold enough.

Buzzing at low RPM's between 1500 - 2000 RPMs is not at all normal. I've had mine for almost a year and its very smooth when operating in the lower range.

I can't speak to the A/C compressor as it doesn't really get warm enough where I live to use it.

I've already tested another CX-3 with similar technical specification, that has the compressor malfunction, but no vibrations at all!
My car has a 5 years warranty, but it's useless, considering Mazda Italy says nothing can be done to remove vibrations and to normalize A/C compressor function!
Honestly, also because of many other minor problems, I'm absolutely not satisfied with my CX-3, especially considering its price, 27.000 Euros here in Italy, no doubt a very high price for a B-suv!

Yes it is absolutely buttery smooth at low RPM driving. Buzzing noise is normal at high RPM, but I feel a distinct vibration in the pedals which I've never felt on another car.

With no CX-3 myself, I'm just blowing smoke trying to diagnose.

But I'd have thought Italy would have extensive Consumer Protection Laws, Procedures, etc.

I felt some vibrations in steering wheel when i am driving at low speed. Maybe around 1-15km/h, like in a parking lot or so.
But i think thats just the "Electric-motor" part of the servo thats causing the vibrations.
(Not sure but i think there is some kind of a smal motor thats helping the servo to operate, im not a mechanic :p)

Hi, I have exactly the same problem and now I'm fed up with that !
Engine vibration between 2000/3000 rpm in brake pedal !. In first I thought it was a problem with brake rotor... but not
I have looking every where, engine mount, etc... Now I think most Mazda have the same issue (I read the same problem with a CX-30). Most and most people says the same all over the word on the net :-((((
I think now this problem cannot be fixed !
Some people dont feel that because they don't pay attention ! And depending your shoes too ! With leather sole of shoes, you don't feel it.. So I'm looking perhaps to change/modify pedal rubber !

Edit : I just find a solution and will post a mod on this forum

THE FUR STARTS FLYING
This is off the wall, but when it is cold cats ;rats and other vermin will seek shelter in the warn engine compartment of a car, they don't know the difference between a fan belt and a battery .
Before starting any car open the door than slam it shut before the fur starts flying .
