Hi all, new here, have a 2016 CX-3 front wheel drive with 48k miles. Sent the car to a pretty well-rated dealership for regular maintenance (try to keep the warranty alive). Besides the regular stuff, dealership recommended an engine coolant flush (a red sign on the inspection sheet) and a fuel injector cleaning. Also attached a small information sheet telling the potential dire consequences of not performing such services.
For the engine coolant: I personally checked the coolant level is right between full and low, and under the rad cap the coolant is full and is a "leafy" green color - not the brand new coolant neon green/yellow color but not dark green either, really feel like a healthy mature leaf that kind of green lol. The owner manual says flush coolant at 120k miles which is way ahead of my 48k.
To my eyes it seems my coolant is very OK. Not sure why I have a red mark on the inspection on "coolant level/condition"
As far as fuel injector cleaning, that's one thing I cannot inspect on my own, although I doubt the dealership thoroughly inspected the status of the injectors either.
So the question is, is there any reason to perform these two recommended services (e.g. to keep the warranty, or the coolant is indeed need to be flushed way before the 120k mark?).
Thank you all very much for your insight
