This is the third episode I have had with my 2019 cx3. After driving on freeway for 20 + miles. I get onto another highway with turnoff & lights & go under a turnpike overpass, which is dark, & my entire dash goes dark. I should add that it was raining, headlights on because it was dark, radio on, heater on (37 degrees). I went down the road & turned around and went back under overpass & cycle repeated. No instrument lights or radio. I have had vehicle into dealership 2 times before for same problem. My vehicle only has 2000 miles as I bought it new. Anyone else experiencing this? I am concerned obviously. As a side note I remember the days in my Ford escort you couldn’t run the air conditioning as the same time going up steep hills. I have another appointment today at dealership & called Mazda as I still have my reference number from last year.

Does your car have the auto lights feature?
On my car when the auto lights are on (in the early morning or when its raining) and I go under a bridge my screen and dials also darken.
I just adjusted the brightness with that button/dial at the top right of the dash cluster, it still darkens and brightens as it thinks its suddenly become night but not dark enough to not be able to see it

My dash goes dark as in no speedometer, fuel, gauges etc., headlights off, radio off. I have been traveling at night & headlights go off & I can’t see highway. It is not dim but totally dark with no view of instrument panel. Kinda of scary. I think it’s an electrical problem. I have had the vehicle in for the third time & seems to only happen after driving 20 miles & having wiper, radio, headlights, heater on. I have the car into dealership today. The last time I dropped it off they told me this wouldn’t happen again but it did. I will say its a concern but I thank you for answering my question. Linda
