I do agree with you that the roofline has to do with head space, and its also an odd size of car that this segment is basically inventing. However, comfort is a big factor for me. I don't really want to buy a car where my head is hitting the roof all the time.

And when did you begin driving from the rear seat?

I was talking about if the front seat had too little head room. it's more rare but it has happened before.
