Scraped the front bumper on numerous things and considering drastic measures. Either I do a 1-1/2 to 2" lift or I saw the lip off the front fascia. I sawed on a new Land Rover and performed self surgery in the past, so the saw is coming out unless someone can offer a solution. The lift would give it a rally look, which would be a plus in my opinion. I checked CARID and JC Whitney, but they couldn't help. Any suggestions??

First, I have to ask what you're doing that you're scraping the lower fascia on so much stuff?

I haven't seen any lift kits for the CX-3 so you're going to be in custom fabrication territory there. I'm not surprised since this isn't billed as an off-road vehicle and lift kits on unibody cars would be... interesting. Are you any good at welding?

You might be able to get a set of custom springs that are the same spring rate but longer or same length but higher rate. There are a number of caveats there. First, your alignment will change with ride height and there may be a limit to how much adjustability there to bring the car back into spec. Second, you will want to get shocks with longer travel (for longer springs) or custom valving (for higher spring rate) to compensate.

Entering and exiting driveways, carefully, and no severe grades. I've owned a lot of cars, and nothing I've ever driven would've scraped. I'm talking to fab shops. Any over-the-counter parts are sketchy. Modifying the bumper is a no-go due to the mounting.

I must admit, I only didn't scrape mine by pure luck. I had to try and teach myself to stop short of curbs and edges, rather than letting the extended front run over them.

I'm sure it's easier to learn where the front of the car is. ;-)

You can't body lift a unibody vehicle. Making your own spacer lift (that go on top of front struts/rear springs) is possible, and pretty common for cross overs. No clue with the suspension can still get into spec as far as alignment though. Give it a go!
