Hi all. I was wondering if anyone has encountered the start stop push button blinking amber while driving? I would appreciate it if anyone can help tell me wats wrong. Thanks
Yes!
It's signal from the FOB detection being lost, mainly due to radio frequency interference, happens like clock work when I'm at a specific area due to what is present there. The light it just letting you know whats the issue. Once you are clear of the interference it will go back to normal.
Car will still run, until engine stops (start/stop included), no need to panic as you can start the car with touching the FOB to the start engine button. IMO chances of your key FOB failing while driving is so low (it will stop opening the doors before that) unless you damage it will driving.... IDK submerge in water or short-circuit it.
