2016 CX-3 LED Headlamp - Replacement Dome/Cover?

I have a 2016 CX-3 Grand Touring with the LED headlight assembly. The headlight cover got cracked and needs to be replaced. Is there a way to just replace the cover? The whole passenger side headlight assembly costs around $1,100 new and I'm not having any luck finding a non-damaged used one.
Any suggestions on how to repair this without having to spend all that would be GREAT!!!

Thank you in advance for any help with my situation - jodygirl0471

Fyi the link mentioned above is for halogen not led so thats another issue when headlights would be completely different.

They don't sell just the plastic lense anywhere that ive seen and the only "budget" route would be to get a halogen headlight and bake the lense off and swap them out but unless youve done it before its not recommended as a first timer diy. Then again there's no guarantee they are swappable since mazda may have moved a clip or joint somewhere between the two making it incompatible since its not something someone would swap out :/

As someone with a led 2016 model too this is a problem were gonna have in the future mainly because the leds are not replacable without heavy modification to the headlight. Basically mazda joined the modern day planned obsolescence route making you need to buy a new set everytime one fails and as you've seen they are not cheap. Eventually it will be better to get a pair of halogen headlights and swap in a led or hid bulb. Not the same brightness as oem led and wont have the "drl eye lights" like the oem leds but at least bulbs would be swappable if they fail.

Thanks for pointing this out. I hadn't noticed the difference between the headlights and didn't realize Mazda used different headlight systems on the same model cars. I'm guessing the base models get halogen and the GT's (mine as well) get the LED lights. Should one of my headlights ever stop working I'll seriously be looking into swapping out both for the halogen systems.

I am not sure the electronics in your car are compatible with halogen headlamps.
Apart from a damaged glass of the headlamps due to a collision, I expect (or hope ;-) the LED lamps will outlive your car.

I certainly hope you are correct that the LED lamps will outlive the car because I am in no hurry to have to spend that kind of money to repair a non-functioning headlight. Now I tend to keep a car until it's 11 or 12 years old, so fingers crossed.
