I'm not sure about the later years but earlier model years use an indirect system for TPMS. The car uses the ABS sensors to determine if a tire is low so there's no need to worry about the sensors.

I definitely prefer TireRack and DiscountTireDirect for making wheel, tire, and wheel+tire package purchases.

There are precious few tires available in our OEM 18" size so I compiled a list of tire sizes that are close to the same overall diameter as OEM.

there probably would be check engine light, but can you run winter wheel
without tpms.
oh by the way 2019 sport awd.
would love to get a hold of 18" oem's, but way too expensive.

thanks

Can confirm 2019 and up have individual tpms sensors in the wheel like usual cars, probably maybe some late model 18s even depending on the region.

I guess Mazda finally figured out that the indirect systems are, uh, crap. Cheap but they really don't work very well.

I want to go the opposite direction so I can get some sweet KO2s, but will probably end up with the slightly taller Yokohamas on mine. I have a 2019 with 18s so I have the proper individual TPMS.

I just put a set of these on my CX-3 because they are a screaming deal at $114 each.

They're quiet and grip well. Much better than the OEM Yokos that came on the 18" wheels.

Caveat: they are summer tires so if it gets cold where you live, you'll need another set of wheels/tires for that.
