MGP Brake Calipers

Does anyone have these on their cx-3? I can't find any pictures on the net. I am thinking of getting them for mine.

I have heard of some people experiences, when running these their Brake Calipers have got a lot hotter than without, due to lack of airflow coming into the Caliper.

I have seen these on a few miatas that come through my shop and I have to say please do not purchase these. It really looks obvious even at a distance that they are fake. It doesn't provide any benefits other than the possibility of being pointed out. In fact we had 2 instances where the nut that holds the covers in place has fallen off and damaged parts of the brakes as when it shattered, bits of it fell into the nooks and crannies of the caliper. Its even worst if using the metal cover type. I do not recommend ever using these.

Was going to change my Calipers, I would be getting into contact with someone like Corksport, as they do a Kit for the 2014+ CX5 that would more than likely fit our CX3's.

Do some research Tyler, and always ask questions there is no harm in doing that.

sentiments in regard to these, they are not worth the hassles.

this x100

I have seen people put these on "performance cars" (lol) and it looks absolutely horrendous like the worst kind of "rice" as a lot of social media warriors would say. To OP I would suggest painting your calipers as an alternative if you want something different looking and dont want to buy a full price upgraded set, but even then the end result would really be just for aesthetics. BUT better to have paint than these things especially when one breaks off while driving.

I travel to Thailand quite a bit and it looks like 1 out of 5 cars has caliper covers. They look terrible. This class of vehicle has no need for an upgraded brake kit, let alone faux ones.
