Mazda Teases Koeru Crossover Concept Ahead of Frankfurt Debut

Mazda is teasing their new Koeru crossover concept ahead of its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The name comes from the Japanese word for "exceed" or "go beyond". The thought is that this model will preview an upcoming CX-4 production model. That model should compete against vehicles like the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe.

If it has more spacious back-seating and cargo area than CX-3 with a 2.5 liter auto option or better, I might just wait.

There is no room between the CX-3 and CX-5 imho.
I personally think we need to see a new "CX-7" and a bigger "CX-9".

An "in-between" between CX-3 and CX-5 could be a very bad decision since one of these product can clearly fall apart (which happened to the CX-7).

I would have given the opportunity to have the 2.5L engine on the CX-3 though, not because it lacks of power, but only those who wants a bit more feeling behind the wheel
