Full report please, which includes:

1. Infotainment System

2. Sound insulation of the cabin over different road conditions

3. Any loose knobs or loose center console (Wiggles a lot) that has been reported by a YouTube review I saw a few days ago.

4. Fit, and finish

5. How does the engine sound in the cabin while accelerating. Better or worse than some other vehicles or even your old vehicle.

6. No spec's here so can you tell me what is the leg room in inches.

7. Does it have a back up camera ?

Thank you

I noticed a loose wiggly console in a Mazda 6 I saw at a car show lately. I wondered if the dealer hadn't pulled it for access to something and failed to resecure it. A real turn-off. No problem in my CX5 however.
Yes please respond posthaste to SR45's good list of questions, and congratulations.

Regarding question 7. There are 4 models in Australian. All but the base have a backup camera. Interesting enough the top 3 models come equipped with navigation as standard equipment also. The Akari model bought by our threadmaster is the top of the line with all the bells and whistles. For lots of details about equipment availability and specs, at least in Australia go to WWW.Mazda.com.au

Thanks for the link. However, interesting, the specs do not include the Front Leg Room. Good to see that one can opt for the center arm rest though expensive. Wonder what happened to the OP with his new CX3 ? Hope he returns to this forum to post some answers to our questions.

Hope we are not being teased. Maybe he just wants time to form some impressions or is just having to much to stop and respond.

Thumbs up My Only Reply

I think you guys are expecting too much from me. I'm just a ordinary person, not a motoring reporter. Nothing to report. Plenty of reading in the owners manual to learn about the MZD connect system. Glad I got all safety features with all the people sitting in my blind spot gawking at my beautiful new car. I took a risk in pre-ordering a new car unseen on Mazda's reputation of producing something special and I have no regrets. I can only recommend that you go to your Mazda Dealer's showroom and take one for a drive. And SR45 there is no wiggly knobs in the centre console. Everything appears to work as intended.

No one here is a professional reviewer, just normal everyday guys/gals here. Buying an expensive car, specially one that is brand new, all of use should take a little time, and look the car over, and if one posts on a car forum, we should expect some questions from other potential buyers. By the way, I'm in the USA and we don't have them yet and doing some research away from professional types.

Thank you for the knob answer, but what about the middle console ? Does it shake/wiggle ? Very important, and some have said it does, and that is not good. Some have posted that the Heads Up Display is a little problematic also. Works sometimes, and not others.

Good luck with your new car
