I have to agree the dynamic blue really stands out on this car (or any for that matter, look at new m3/4 the color is very similar) This was kind of an impulse buy as I needed a daily with a bit of personality, awd and decent gas mileage. The cx3 ticked all those boxes for me and the price was right. To those of you who drove theirs in snow this last winter, how did it do? Would you recommend getting a standalone set of winter wheels/tires or does the awd system do a decent job?

I had no problems driving in the snow. I made a comment in another thread about how my neighbor with a FWD car had trouble getting out of the parking lot, she got stuck 3 times and we had to help push her car out. I drove my CX-3 around with ease. No winter tires were necessary. Keep in mind though if you do live in a fairly snowy area, winter tires will be very helpful as they help with breaking. Having AWD is definitely helpful for accelerating and not getting stuck, but will not help with breaking. If you only get snow once or twice a year like we do in the northern Virginia area, winter tires are not really necessary.

The original tires don't do well in any road conditions when the temperature fall below freezing. They are pretty good even in deep snow as long as the temperature is not too cold
