On Demand AWD works as advertised

I was surprised that our CX3 pulled a 740kg boat and trailer out of the water up a muddy/grassy slope with zero wheel spin. Very impressive.

Driving to and from the lake we were towing 3/4 of the car's rated capacity so I thought I'd have to shift the auto manually but car is smart enough to know it was burdened and kept the revs up. Mind you my last car was a 1994 Camry so I'm a bit behind in car tech.

Garage
A CX-3 is an astonishingly capable AWD. In snow and with snow tyres, it is only governed by the depth of the snow and it getting beached.

Currently CX5 SportNav 2.2 diesel automatic and AWD.
Formerly CX3 SportNav 1.5 diesel automatic and AWD.

All advice is given in good spirit and taken entirely at the readers own risk. WORK SAFELY. ©2018 anchorman
