First new car. First ever crash :-(

Hello all, NW CT, USA here. Love my new cx-3. Got in Pearl White - and it's gorgeous. Anyway, I had quite a rough day and need some love. Today, with only 303 miles under it's belt, a little old lady backed into my car while I was at full stop. In 16 years of driving dilapidated sh*t-buckets, I have now had my first ever accident in my new car after only 5 days. So sad even though relatively minor.

Sorry to hear it.

If you thump the bumper just under those two oblong holes it should pop back then the wheel arch will follow by doing the same. It will need a bumper repair to make it perfect. Keep your chin up. At least you both walked away.

That is a bummer sounds like something that happened to me in the 70s.Just keep your head up and hopefully it will get fixed where you never know it.

I can relate but mine was hit & run.
Twice - second one I caught on the dashcam.
The beauty of a new car is any replacement parts are easy to match to original colour.

Also nice to get the first ding, rock chip or other item out of the way.
After repair it'll look 100%

Probably a good thing it was a little old lady, may have saved you from freaking out on somebody ( or did you ? )

Welcome to our group - most of us have a nice car too

Mine was rear ended 6 weeks after I bought it. $10,500 to repair it.
