Strange Electronics Behavior On Trip

So I drove from Harrisburg, PA to Sea Isle City this past weekend. On the way back, about 3/4 the way home, the car beeped, about half the warning lights came on and the heads-up display retracted and then came back up again. The other display was not affected. Naturally I panicked a little and pulled over. Turning the car off and re-starting it seemed to solve the issue. Seems that nothing was wrong other than the dash glitching out.

Just wondering: Has anyone ever experienced something like this? It's a 2019 with around 6,000 miles on it. Bought it new in August.

If it were an older car, I'd say it was corroded or loose ground.

If it doesn't happen again, chalk it up to cosmic rays.

Haha, mine often did it. I think it was cosmic rays too! I’ve spent more time typing this than I did worrying about it ;-)

Well OK, then. I won't worry too much about it. Kind of jarring when you're going 80 down the Turnpike and wanted to be sure it wasn't a precursor to something worse.

So...Cosmic rays it is!
