Windshield washer nozzle upgrade?

Has anyone upgraded their windshield washer nozzle? The OEM nozzle that comes with the car sprays terribly and itís especially dangerous when driving during wet muddy conditions. Iíve upgraded an envoy nozzle before from parts I bought at Canadian tire and boy was it a night and day difference. It sprayed like a fan, just like the new generation Honda pilots. Anyone attempted to pry open their front plastic covers to obtain access? Thanks!!!

I've not attempted an upgrade. Have you tried adjusting the spray pattern of your current nozzles? - See http://www.cx3forum.com/forum/130362-post22.html

The problem with the washers originates at the pump. They use the same pump for the front and rear by reversing it which seems to effect the power - maybe some leaks back. I think the best mod would be a second pump if it was doable.

Currently CX5 SportNav 2.2 diesel automatic and AWD.
Formerly CX3 SportNav 1.5 diesel automatic and AWD.
