What do you know about "throttle enhancers"??

I'm thinking of getting one for the SX4. I posted up in my Suzuki MB about it but want to see what people here think about them.

The throttle in the SX4 is super laggy, I f'ing hate it especially now since I drive the car more and the GF has the Mazda.

I am looking at a particular brand and they also have one for a CX-3.

Some vids I found:

I think this product will give me the results I'm looking for, reduced lag which should translate to better peppiness for the SX4. Compared to my old Nissan Sentra SE (with cable linkage throttle) the Suzuki is a total dog because of the lag in the DBW throttle.

I was given a sprint booster way back when I had a Mazda3. This is basically a throttle amplifier. The Mazda3 wasn't laggy but it eliminated what lag was there, making it feel "zippy". IMO, $300 is a lot for what it is/does.

Yes I agree it is a bit pricey for what it is. I won't be paying that for it I'll wait for a sale or continue to look online to find the lowest price before deciding to get one.

Price issue aside, were you impressed with what it did in your 3 or did you find it to be a gimmick?

Keep in mind last year they came out with that new v3.0 with all the different programs in each mode, the previous version was just 3 settings stock, sport and race mode.

I was very pleased for what it does. It eased drivability with better response without having to go so far down on the throttle.
