It depends if you have a hitch or not.I would go to e trailer and give you car information and by the way that is my car on there with instructions on putting on a hitch and a video with a non hitch bike rack.
I personally think getting a hitch is the way to go and a hitch bike rack.
I can load and unload our bikes in a couple of minutes with a hitch type bike rack.

I agree with Playthru1.

Installing a hitch and then getting a hitch-based bike rack is the easiest long-term.

The strange thing is the bikes or the rack did not mess with The sensors I had.I thought I would have to turn them off when the bikes were loaded.

Having the rack below the roof line makes mounting bikes much easier. Also, there's less aero penalty.

Curt Hitch

Just installed, but also now have the benefit if needed can tow a box trailer.

Just also fitted is a Swagman G10 Hitch Mount Rack, very strong and very easy to load bikes, which weigh 12k+ each, plus the added benefit of now being able to drive into places without the worry of destroying the Bikes and Roof of the Car when they were up there.

I used to mount 2 x Mountain Bikes on Roof Rack Carriers.

Got all my details and ideas from e trailer, very good site with plenty of info.

Will try to get some pics up soon just waiting on some good weather over here in Sydney.

I always refer to the old saying of you get what you pay for, I certainly would not be putting a 6k bike on a $30 eBay rack, but that's me.
