Is the cx 3 selling well

I know in the St.Louis area the dealers still have some 2016s and dont seem to be selling them as well as I thought they would. How are the sales in other areas of the world going?
From what I have been told by a sales person that the back seats do not have enough room for people with a family and that is hurting sales.
I never use the back seat myself so it is not a issue for me.

I think the CX-3 is pretty popular in Europe, it has a size that fits in European style, but they are still far from the most popular SUV's as the Nissan Qashqai (US version of Rouge), Honda CR-V etc

Since getting mine early last September, I have seen very few anywhere here in CT. Interesting - and curious - to me anyway. I have seen many more HR-Vs to be sure, and a Chevy Trax or Nissan Juke here and there (though Juke's have been out for several years now). In the sub-compact crossover class, what I have seen a slew of are Jeep Renegades. Those are all over the place. Probably many factors as to why, however I wonder if people are infatuated with the Jeep badge (and mystique) and maybe believe they are getting a mini-Wrangler Sahara or something, when in fact, they are getting a under-the-skin Fiat 500X (built alongside the Renegade in Italy).

Over here the Qashqai/Rogue and CR-V compete more with the CX-5 ... while the CX-3 is compared with Honda's HR-V.

According to the above links, the CX-3's European sales are over 50% higher than the HR-V (2016, cumulative through November).

Despite it's greater utility, the anemic HR-V sales may be due to imited supply and lower quality ... in addition to its weaker performance.

Anecdotal but I see far more HR-Vs in Seattle then CX3's.

Im currently on holiday in Thailand and HR-Vs are everywhere. And are better equipped than US models with Acura-like LED headlights and accents, pano roofs etc. I see dozens of them a day but only 2 CX3's in the past 2 weeks.

The production stats links in another thread indicate roughly 4X more HR-Vs than CX-3s are sold in the States. I see very, very few CX-3s here on the upper East Coast.

P.S. Attracted by Mt. Ranier, HR-Vs probably come floating up from Mexico to Puget Sound.

I rarely see CX-3's in my area. To be honest I kinda like the fact I don't see the streets saturated with a car I drive

This is why I could never drive a Honda or Toyota or something else that everyone and their grandmas drive.

I can understand why Mazda doesn't sell much though, they hardly advertise and I've never seen them have a sale. Every other major dealer has multiple sales a year advertising huge discounts, most of them BS, but they bring people into their dealerships.

They are everywhere in Australia! In a 500m walk from a the local light rail station to home after work I walk past 4. Would pass 2 or 3 driving on the 2km trip to work.

But Australia is the anomaly when it comes to Mazda sales - they are our 3rd biggest car brand.

The figures are all the way down the bottom of the articles but looks like we are buying similar numbers to the US with 1/10 of the population;

Lots of CX5s here in Ontario, Canada, but not many CX3s. I get the impression that there are already more 2017 CX9s on the road than CX3 even though they have only been available for a short time.
