2017 CX3 Canadian Edition news

Mazda Canada just notified me about the "new" 2017 CX3 that is being launched.

Guess what? Canada's edition still does not come equipped with adaptive cruise or Smart Braking! We must be the only market in which Mazda does not see fit to equip their cars with these essential safety items.

The current UK models don't have Smart Brake Support (only Smart City Brake Support) or Adaptive Cruise either, so you are not alone over there.

the smart breaking has saved me once and love to test it out by putting a box in my driveway and drive towards it and have the car stop on its own.. i've only used the adaptive cruise control once but i enjoyed it. Just come to the states and hassle a mazda dealership till they sell you one.. i know they don't like to sell like that.

Unlimited warranty is useless to me, the longest I've owned a car is 4 years, I like change

I don't drive much on the highway but adaptive cruise control would be more useful. The 2017 CX-3 in general seems to be almost exactly the 2016 model with some minimal changes, like the option to get Touring in US with 18 inch wheels or something.

Do other Canadian cars have these features? I can't imagine why they wouldn't offer them unless there was a law against it.
