I got mine in Oct 15 and just rolled over 2600 miles. I had the oil changed about 3 weeks ago and moving forward, will just do it every 6 months because, like you, I don't drive a lot.

in Canada, the schedule (on fixed) is every 8000kms, or 4 months - whichever comes first.

I got my car early Dec and got my oil changed last week, i only had 5000kms but 4 months had passed.

The recommended interval for US is to change oil/filter and rotate tires every 5,000 miles. In fact I just did mine a couple days ago as I hit almost 5,000 miles after 6 months

Fixed interval is 7,500 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first.

That are short intervals.

Here (NL) it is 1 year / 20,000 km. Which is already shorter than most other manufacturers.

I cannot understand why you have to change oil so often over there in us and canada. Its ridiculously often compared to here in sweden (and i think in hole europa?) we only change it once a year or every 20 000km (12 427miles).
How is this possible, that the difference is so big?
