Windshield washer leak

I haven't seen this problem before and nothing came up on search so hopefully someone has an answer. My wife's CX has a leak in the washer. Over the summer it kept running dry, thought we were just using a lot of fluid on trips etc. but the other day it was empty again and no trips in the last month.

I filled the reservoir with water (to check) and could see no leaks... Checked it next day and still had fluid in it, but the following day there was a big puddle under there and reservoir is now empty again. And of course, it appears the entire front end must come off to get to the bottle LOL. I guess the days of having the reservoir on the firewall and accessible is "gone with the wind". Anyone have this problem? Or perhaps suggest a solution?

Thanks

Glenn

Im trying to remember if there was enough clearance from the front lower bumper area. Its been a while since i took the front end off but Im like 80% sure if you jack up the front and remove the lower plastic splash guards you might be able to access the washer tank, assuming the leak is through there and not the washer motor. Ofcourse the most easiest manner to access it would be to take off the front bumper but its up to you and the outside temps youre willing to work on. I would suspect a loose connection or maybe a split from a poor connection. Thankfully the windshield washer system is more basic than say the coolant system of a car.

My unofficial advice if theres a crack/leak in the reservoir itself would be to jb weld/super glue it but you didnt hear that from me.
