AC Condenser

Has anyone ever take their condenser out before on a 2016 CX-3? I have to replace mine and am wondering if it is straight forward or any directions out there.

Thanks, Dave

Hi Farmer2,

I'm sure there's a manual uploaded in the technical section, Anchorman has shared a good number and another user more recently shared his Gdrive link to all that he downloaded when he had paid access.

2016 Cx-3, 2.0L petrol, manual transmission. South Africa.

Iíve got it for the 1.5 diesel which is similar. The condenser is attached to the radiator and it comes out as a unit which you then separate. There will be some differences but the general process is the same......
Attached Files
File Type: pdf Radiator.pdf (256.0 KB, 35 views)

Currently CX5 SportNav 2.2 diesel automatic and AWD.
Formerly CX3 SportNav 1.5 diesel automatic and AWD.

Thanks Anchorman. I did get to the drive that dbombase had and he also had the radiator removal and they are the same for gas and diesel. There was a lot he downloaded! Is there another data base I can browse that you know of for PDF's?

I just bought this 2016 CX-3 from my daughter with 50k on it. I seen a rock nicked the condenser lower and I will replace this weekend. Very nice car and great on gas mileage @ 32 !

Thanks, Dave

Anshorman, pulled the radiator last night and it was straight forward with the diesel pdf you shared. The only issue was one of the lower fan shroud bolts snapped due to rust and both of the condenser hose line bolts snapped as well. Have to love the salty winter months here in Illinois..........

Thanks again, Dave
