No streets after GPS SD update

Hi all. I updated my GPS SD card for the first time last night and after I reinstalled the SD card the GPS isn't displaying streets - just a black background. The pointer that reflects the car is still there, as is the location of home and any petrol stations I drive past, but the streets and roads are not shown. Any ideas?

Please disregard my request - the issue resolved itself with a subsequent re-update

Out of interest, do you know the date of the label file that is in the root drive on the SD card? Mine is Oct 15 2015 and yet when I tried using Toolbox just now to see if there was a new update I got the message saying the device is upto date and there isn't an Update button down the left hand side of the Toolbox main screen. As the maps are supposed to be updated twice a year, every Spring and Autumn / Fall, it's kinda overruning at the moment.
