Question iActiveSense Cameras

So I have been noticing the sensors on other cars as I drive around lately that also have collision avoidance/lane departure warning/auto high beam/etc. They all seem to only have one or maybe two sensors behind the rear-view mirror whereas I count four cameras and some other sensor on ours.

I am curious what each sensor is (camera, LIDAR, light sensor, etc.), what function it is used for, and why the iActiveSense has so many more sensors (needing a larger mirror housing) than other cars.

i know the radar cruise control is behind the mazda logo on the front of the car.. the glass looking logo.. not the cutout one. found out the hard way when my radar cruise control was not working and took it to mazda and the wiped the bugs off the mazda logo and told me to try it again.
