Hiding Navigation Menu Buttons

Greetings. After one month of ownership, the only (small) complaint I have concerns the line of buttons which appear on the navigation screen every time the car is started. Does anyone know of a way to hide the lower buttons on the navigation screen so they would stay hidden regardless of the car being shutoff and restarted (which necessitates re-hiding those buttons). The navigation and owners manuals do not appear to address that specific action. Thanks.

I don't think You can make them stay hidden after restarts.
And if You find a way I would like to know :-)
