terrible horn

I am anxious to change the horn on my CX-3; stock one is horrible. Has anyone had the grille off their 3 yet? I have undone a lot of fasteners, but haven't yet seen an easy way to get at the horn, which is visible right behind the grille.

Terrible horn

Thanks, Adam. I'll try again.
I have a set of high/low tone horns I had installed on my Protege5, but removed them before I traded the car in. They are loud and sound really good. Also have an identical set on my Mazda3.

The Stebel Magnum Blasters are great, loud horns. They have separate shells for the high and low notes. I've put them on 2 motorcycles and had them in my RX-8. It's best to power them directly from the battery via a relay on the stock horn power feeds. I'm not sure the stock wiring harness has the capacity to power them directly. Better safe than sorry.

Here's how I wired them on my ST1300
