Condensation in Headlights

How many are having condensation in their headlights? Is there any easy remedy or do I need to fight with the dealership?

Thanks!

Hey Mike,

There's an extensive thread on this. You are not the first to have this issue.
Good news is, there is options to replace via warranty or co-payment (if out of warranty).

2016 Cx-3, 2.0L petrol, manual transmission. South Africa.

Thanks for the heads up! Can you point me to that thread?

I can do that for you:

https://www.cx3forum.com/forum/appea...densation.html
https://www.cx3forum.com/forum/appea...leds-hids.html
https://www.cx3forum.com/forum/appea...densation.html

As you can see it's all under the same category.
The search feature works well on the forum - also you may find something/info for future use. I know I only installed a dash & rear cam combo after I saw a few other's posts about it.

CHeers!

Thanks - I tried the search but I guess I didn't hold my mouth right. LOL

I called Corporate. There is a TSB on it issued in March of this year that addresses this. I copied it and took the car to a service dept. The guy looked it over and said he'll look into if it is covered under the CPO.

Make sure you keep your headlights on in the rain and after carwashes. Problem solved.

Seems simple but this has had water in the lights since we saw it at the dealership 5 days ago. The lights are on every time we drive it - problem still there.
