Question 2019 CX3 Sport : Fog Light harness?

Greetings,

Question: Does the 2019 Mazda CX3 Sport
come pre-wired from the factory with Fog light wires/harness?

For the record, Mazda USA doesn't show a "fog light kit" as an option
for the 2019 CX3 Sport. I don't know if it has anything to do with
the more expensive trims having the upgraded LED headlights+fogs?

Any info you have on this is greatly appreciated!

Reason why i want to know is that, i would like to add after market
lights ( thinking of Baja Designs) to the CX3 sport.
But i want to have as clean an install as possible, would be nice
if i could install the "fog light switch stalk" on the column and
have them come on via that switch.

Yes. The harness pigtails are clipped to a dummy plug on the inside of the bumper cover. The stalk is easily removed and replaced. I wrote a bit more about it here.

Lightbulb

Thank you WebDevDan - that was quick!
and i am happy you posted the link to the other thread -

Very interesting set-up you have,

I am on the fence, I need a good wide angle amber light
for heavy fog conditions.

So i can either go the route you have ( nice and clean )
or
Mount something like these:
bajadesigns S1's

either perched on top of the license plate
or some how hanging out from a bracket in the factory location
( certainly, both are not "clean" install either way)

Do you have any ideas?

( wish the CX3 had bigger fog pockets in the bumper, like the Subaru XV )

A clean install of anything aftermarket in the factory holes would be difficult, but not impossible, because of the plastic cover and the mounting bucket behind it plus the limited space to work behind the passenger side one with the wiper fluid tank right there. The front license plate is an idea but it's a very weak and wobbly holder that seems to barely be an afterthought. One user mounted some lights just by screwing them directly into the plastic. I'm hoping corksport comes out with a rally bar. I have an idea for one using the factory tie-down hook mounting points but no time to implement it.
