2016 CX3 Headlight condensation.

Hello all, I bumped into this forum with the headlight issue. I did file a claim with corporate Mazda about the issue and they were able to help. I took it to another Mazda dealer close to home for them to look at them. It has certified warranty so basically after 2 days they called me saying they replaced the headlights for free. I hope this helps anyone that has this issue, not like it's something big but it was driving me crazy lol.

New replaced headlights.

Hi Joseph, was ur cx-3 out of warranty when you had replacement done? By the time I discovered this issue, my wife's 2016 cx-3 was already out of warranty.

I just had mine done recently too and was well over warranty. I did call Mazda Corporate and stopped by the dealer service department putting them in touch with each other. In the end, I did have so much condensation that it was nearly impossible to see driving at night - essentially a safety hazard. Mazda replaced without cost to me.

Same issue in my case, bad quality sealed beams.

Mine after 2 years, the problem appeared, the dealer changed both sides.

2019 cx-3 that I bought in February I've already had the driver side light replaced and I'm getting ready to have the passenger side replace. Guess this is a normal thing for these cars

This condition is NOT normal. Please refer to the following TSB PDF. Print this off and bring to your dealer. This condition is covered under Mazda's New Car Basic Warranty for 3 years/36k miles, whichever comes first.
