Bicycle in a CX 3?

I've not seen any photos...and frankly, even if I have to take off the front wheel, I would want to be able to do this.

Does anyone know for sure if one could get a standard bicycle in the back with the rear seats down?

Maybe with all the seats folded down, front wheel off the bike and laid down but i'm not confident. This was something i wanted but then changed my mind when i saw how awesome the car looked vs how often i actually take advantage of putting a bike in the back. If bike in the car was a bigger motivator i would have went CX-5. There is very few advantages of the CX-3 over the CX-5. About $4K cheaper per trim package on the CX-3.

Just to be clear, the CX-3 is very cramped. But it is a small car. My hatchback Saab has three times the storage.

I know you are looking for specific experience. My experience didn't go beyond opening the back and thinking "that's not happening, oh well."

I know this doesn't answer your question at all, but for those interested who might be reading this thread, the Thule Archway, Gateway and Raceway series trunk mount racks all work fine on CX-3. I'm running the Archway 2-bike.

Yea I was thinking that you could always put a rack on the back instead. Worth seeing if it will fit in the back though. If it's possible Mazda would be wise to post a picture showing such.

Good link. Kind of a whining diary, if you will.
Is she from West Nashville?

Thule Rack on CX-3

For those interested. Thule Archway 2-Bike on CX-3. Good fit, only hiccup is that the rack impedes the path of the rear wiper, so can't use it while the rack is on the car.

Second hiccup will be all the damage done to the paint job. Just some dust under the rack or the straps and and paint will be scratched by wobbling rack.
